Wind power continues to grow as a cornerstone of the renewable energy transition across the United States. This hands-on camp will teach participants both fundamental and advanced concepts in harvesting wind energy, including system design, site assessment, and maintenance. Participants will also erect a small wind turbine during the camp, gaining practical experience in installation and operation.

The camp will be taught by Roy Butler, a NABCEP Certified Solar PV Installer and NYSERDA Eligible Installer for New York State’s PV and wind incentive programs. Butler brings nearly three decades of experience as owner and operator of Four Winds Renewable Energy, where he has specialized in the design, installation, and maintenance of solar and wind systems for residential and commercial clients. A seasoned educator and renewable energy professional, he has instructed previous Energypath Wind Boot Camps, combining technical expertise with real-world insight to prepare participants for success in the clean energy field.
